Our president, James Douglas, and his son Cameron are planning to undertake a challenging passage from Dee SC to Northern Ireland in James’ trusty Dart 18 ‘Bogtrotter II’. Their route will see them leave the estuary and head down the welsh coast to Anglesey before voyaging across to the Isle of Man and then onto Northern Ireland. Preparations are well underway and they are hopeful for a weather window in the next few months.
They are hoping to raise £10,000 for the charity Blood Cancer UK.
We are also planning a fundraiser at the club on the 20th May. More details will be posted shortly.
