View from the rear….

A quick post to keep everyone updated on what’s going on at the club & on the water.

On Bank Holiday Monday we had the Club Open Day, where we raised over £60 for the lifeboat and said thank you to everyone who helped with the club refurb over the winter. It was great to see the club so busy, with lots old and new members coming down, keeping James very busy behind the BBQ for a marathon burger flipping shift!

This weekend there’s lots planned:

Reminder to everyone that Ann Griffith and the Rescue team will be down to welcome any prospective rescue team members and show them what’s involved, both off and on the water. That will start at 10:00.

Today we have all been invited to the WKSC pursuit race and I know a few of us will be taking part. We will launch at Dee and sail over. The faster boats start later so Dart 18’s will be at 11:23.

Sunday we have a long distance race at Dee starting at 11:05. This will be over to Mostyn or maybe round Hilbre we will find out on the day.

So have a great weekend!

PS – if anyone has any photos from this weekend, please send them over so I can include in the next update. Thanks.
